Summer Camp 2026
Tailored Minds Academy is excited to offer a variety of summer camps and enrichment for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Give your child a summer experience that weaves learning with fun hands on activities. All camps are taught by experienced Florida certified teachers.
The Magic of Chemistry
Does your child love to make things explode? Students in 2nd – 6th grade will experience science like never before. Each day, students will learn about a different chemistry topic and complete multiple hands-on labs.
Art of Spelling
Does your child love art and struggle with spelling? In the class, we combine art and spelling to make the processes of learning and memorizing high-frequency spelling words and homophones enjoyable. This class is wonderful for students with dyslexia, specific learning disability in reading or writing, and students who struggle with working memory.
Level Up Reading Quest
Calling all adventurers! Level up your reading comprehension, vocabulary, oral language, literary knowledge, and verbal reasoning while playing Dungeons & Dragons. Read a high-interest book and play a tabletop RPG. Students will grow in reading skills, writing skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and social skills. D&D and other tabletop RPGs are engaging and exciting; they encourage students to read independently and together, both during and outside the game. RPGs also increase students' vocabulary and literary knowledge.
Engineering with Physics
Does your child love to build and create? Do they want to know why and how things work? Then this is the camp for them! Each day, students will engage in building challenges, learn about physics topics, and build projects using the knowledge they gain.
Storytime Theater
This program is designed for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade who love to act, sing, dance, and play pretend. Each session, students will read stories, learn songs and dances, complete arts-and-crafts projects, and engage in dramatic play. Children will gain skills in reading comprehension, storytelling, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and social skills, all while having fun.
Florida Ecology & Geology
Is your child a budding ecologist or geologist? This four-day camp includes two days in the classroom and two days in the field. Students will learn about the ecology and geology of Florida with stories, art, hands-on activities, and field experiences.
Math Games
Building math fluency doesn’t have to be boring! Join Ms. Katrina for an hour of math games! Students will play a variety of card, board, and dice games that work on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
Cross Stitch for Kids
Students work on fine motor skills while learning a traditional craft. Each student will complete two or more projects. Younger students will use plastic netting and plastic needles, while older students will use real needles and fabric to complete their cross stitch. Students can select from a variety of patterns.
Watercolor Landscapes
Students learn to create stunning landscape watercolor paintings while improving fine motor skills, increasing hand strength, and hand-eye coordination. Students will create one or more paintings per session. Between paintings, we will read stories and learn about color theory and famous artists.
