The Magic of Chemistry

Does your child love to make things explode? Students in 2nd – 6th grade will experience science like never before. Each day, students will learn about a different chemistry topic and complete multiple hands-on labs.

Art of Spelling

Art of Spelling

Does your child love art and struggle with spelling? In the class, we combine art and spelling to make the processes of learning and memorizing high-frequency spelling words and homophones enjoyable. This class is wonderful for students with dyslexia, specific learning disability in reading or writing, and students who struggle with working memory.

Level Up Reading Quest

Calling all adventurers! Level up your reading comprehension, vocabulary, oral language, literary knowledge, and verbal reasoning while playing Dungeons & Dragons. Read a high-interest book and play a tabletop RPG. Students will grow in reading skills, writing skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and social skills. D&D and other tabletop RPGs are engaging and exciting; they encourage students to read independently and together, both during and outside the game. RPGs also increase students' vocabulary and literary knowledge.

Engineering with Physics

Does your child love to build and create? Do they want to know why and how things work? Then this is the camp for them! Each day, students will engage in building challenges, learn about physics topics, and build projects using the knowledge they gain.

Story Time Theater Summer Camp 2026

Storytime Theater

This program is designed for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade who love to act, sing, dance, and play pretend. Each session, students will read stories, learn songs and dances, complete arts-and-crafts projects, and engage in dramatic play. Children will gain skills in reading comprehension, storytelling, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and social skills, all while having fun.

Florida Ecology & Geology Summer Camp 2026

Florida Ecology & Geology

Is your child a budding ecologist or geologist? This four-day camp includes two days in the classroom and two days in the field. Students will learn about the ecology and geology of Florida with stories, art, hands-on activities, and field experiences.

Math Games Summer Camp 2026

Math Games

Building math fluency doesn’t have to be boring! Join Ms. Katrina for an hour of math games! Students will play a variety of card, board, and dice games that work on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.

Cross-stitch Summer Camp 2026

Cross Stitch for Kids

Students work on fine motor skills while learning a traditional craft. Each student will complete two or more projects. Younger students will use plastic netting and plastic needles, while older students will use real needles and fabric to complete their cross stitch. Students can select from a variety of patterns.

Watercolor Summer Camp 2026

Watercolor Landscapes

Students learn to create stunning landscape watercolor paintings while improving fine motor skills, increasing hand strength, and hand-eye coordination. Students will create one or more paintings per session. Between paintings, we will read stories and learn about color theory and famous artists.

Each session begins with reading a chapter of a D&D themed book. While reading, we will work on vocabulary, reading comprehension, literary structure, and writing skills. After this we will play a session of Dungeons & Dragons.

Physics of Engineering

Each session starts with a lesson on the physics topic, including read-alouds of both nonfiction and fiction. After the lesson, students begin the day’s engineering project.

Florida Ecology & Geology

Students will have two sessions in the classroom and two in the field. Each session begins with a lesson on the day’s topics. Then, students will start hands-on activities and experiments. Students will have lunch at 11:30 and need to bring their own lunch. After lunch, students will continue with hands-on activities and art projects.  

 

On field days, students need to come prepared in weather-appropriate clothing. They will need water, lunch, sunscreen, and a towel. We will be looking for shark teeth/fossils and doing dip netting/taking water samples. Students will be only at the edge of the water, up to their ankles. Please note that a parent or guardian MUST be present for the entire session on July 7th and July 10th (field days).  

 

Topics include: Rock layers, Fossil Dating, Local fossils, rocks, and shark teeth, Erosions, Florida ecosystems, Florida plants and animals, Invasive species, and Restoration efforts

We will start with learning the fundamentals of cross stitch and then move on to an initial project creating a tree. After students finish their initial project, they can choose from any of our patterns. Each student will complete multiple full cross stitch projects.

Chemistry is Magic

Chemistry is Magic

Students will complete multiple experiments and hands-on activities each day. Each day will start with a lesson on the topic including read aloud fiction and non-fiction related to the chemistry topic. After the lesson students will engage in guided hands-on experiments.

 

We will have lunch at 11:30. Students must bring their own lunch that does not need to be refrigerated.  After lunch we will complete activities and art related to the topic. 

Topics Include:

  • Acid Base Reactions  

Students will complete multiple hands-on experiments and activities related to the topic of the day!

Students will start each session with a lesson on the topic which includes read alouds of non-fiction and fiction related to the topic. After the lesson student will begin the days experiments. 

Lunch is at 11:30. Students need to bring their own lunch. After lunch students will complete hands-on activities are art projects. 

This camp is limited to 10 students.
